When I think about French cuisine, I think about classical fare. I think about elegance and sophistication. So, when my friend/colleague mentioned about this place where we can wine and dine, it’s rhetorical. I don’t have it in me to say no.
And so, we did, after we soaked in the hotel’s pool for an afternoon.
The moment we entered the parking space, my eyes immediately zoned to the French flag and then the name, La Vie Parisienne (The French Life).
It has a lot to offer other than wine, which they had plenty from something cheap to something high up there in the 4 figures (in Philippine pesos).
The smell of cheese smacks you up front the moment you enter their concessionaire area where there are many selections of cheese, wine and baked goods. I cannot help myself, of course, and lingered to inspect every buttery goodness.
And did I mention about the wine library?
Because we would still need to drive back to the hotel, we couldn’t indulge that much.
The ambiance, food, cheese, wine and some takeout bakery goods made the experience A+ good.
