A year ago, one would have been in a dilemma when it comes to thinking about somewhere to dine that appeals to any palette.
With the emergence of the Metro Events Zone or MEZ in the heart of Lipa City, Batangas, there are plenty to choose from and worthy of any foodie to check out.
There’s the Cafe de Alps, a bus custom-made to become a cozy bus-themed restaurant. They’ve got your usual cafe offerings as well as some entrees.
Then, if you don’t mind dining al fresco, there’s the uber-yummy baby back ribs from Twins Smoked Ribs.
Don’t forget to walk right in all the way to the back part to J&B Food Corner, so you won’t miss the best churros you’ll ever have. Also, take a bite of their beignets — all made by a french chef.
That’s just about all that my tummy can take per visit. One trip won’t suffice, I might say. With the place still having empty slots, I’m pretty sure it will be filled up soon and there would be more foodie offerings to choose from. I can’t wait to try them all.
