Sweet Petticoats

When I feel like relaxing, one thing immediately [almost automatically] comes to mind. And that’s tea + a book. Something sweet added to that formula would be better.

I’ve been known to read and consume historical romance books by the dozen when I was younger. I started early with big romantic author names such as Julie Garwood, Jude Deveraux, Arnette Lamb, Johanna Lindsey… and Judith McNaught.

McNaught wasn’t as popular with her historical romances compared to the names above. But there’s one book that stood the test of time and still remains to be one of my favorites. That’s “Until You.”

This afternoon, I picked one of my favorites mild tea flavors: TetLey’s Jasmine tea. It’s a go-to brew whenever I have something sweet like a slice of Dulce de Leche cake from Goldilocks. Of course, with the trifecta of tea, book and cake, I’m a content woman that’s taking this time to relax after a long day at work.
