I love seafood, especially well-prepared ones. It doesn’t matter if it’s prepared in a rustic way or in a fancy way. For me, it’s all about how it looked, how it smells and how it tastes.
Take, for example, these Norwegian Pink Salmon fillets I bought from the market. I may be a trained chef (non-professional), but I knew right away when I saw it that I wouldn’t want to murder it by experimenting too much on it.
So, I just lightly seasoned it with salt and pepper, then pan-seared it with olive oil until the skin came out crispy. Then, I prepared a simple salad with cucumber ribbons, fresh romaine lettuce topped with balsamic vinaigrette.
Viola! That’s my lunch today … simple and healthy. 🙂
